Mayor’s Charity Chinese Banquet Night!

Come and join us on Sunday 26th February @ 7.00pm in Cherrydale Restaurant, Penistone for a fabulous 4 course banquet meal and help raise funds for Penistone Mayor Steve Webber’s Charities – Woodhead Mountain Rescue & Ward 19, Barnsley Hospital.

Penistone Viaduct Snow Scene 2010

Soon we'll be inviting people to submit photos taken in the area with a view to building a gallery and archive. One image will be selected each month for this page. Subjects can be anything ranging from the local landscape to local characters. As long as they're shot within the Penistone area they'll be considered for inclusion in the archive. Details will be announced soon so please come back for more info or check the local press.

Mayoress at Home - St John's Church, Penistone, Saturday 10th March at 12.30

Join Cllr Lynette Webber, Mayoress of Penistone and her guest the Mayor of Barnsley, Cllr Karen Dyson, for an afternoon in St John's Church, featuring a glass of bubbly on arrival, a light lunch and prize raffle.
Tickets are £10 per person and all proceeds go towards the Mayor of Penistone's Charities - Woodhead Mountain Rescue Team and Ward 19, Barnsley Hospital.
